Rome Health activates online patient portal for easy use

ROME — Rome Health has launched a new patient portal to allow people to schedule appointments online, according to hospital officials.

The new Medent patient portal will allow patients to schedule appointments with their primary care and pediatric providers in Rome, Camden and Boonville. Patients will also be able to request prescription refills, notify the practice of changes to their personal information and send and receive non-urgent messages.

“We’re excited to provide patients with this convenient option to schedule appointments online,” said Director Kristin Hutchins. “At any time of day or night, patients can see our schedules in real time and select an appointment that fits their needs.”

Existing patients who have already activated their patient portal account can use that to access the new features at the website www.romehealth.org/patient-portal. Existing patients who have not yet established a patient portal account can request an activation code in person during their next visit or call the office to get an activation code.
