Gala Di Mistero masquerade ball to benefit The Neighborhood Center

The Neighborhood Center is hosting its sixth annual Gala Di Mistero at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at The Delta Hotels by Marriot Utica, 200 Genesee St.

Guests can enjoy a mysterious and intriguing evening in person — a masquerade ball if you will — and be amazed as you see The Delta Hotels by Marriot Utica transformed into a place like no other for the Gala Di Mistero. This year’s theme is “Into the Mystical Forest.”

The evening, a benefit for The Neighborhood Center, will feature themed delicacies and food prepared by a local culinary master, with an open bar serving signature libations. As guests mingle with other masked guests, they will enjoy the majestic sounds of Last Left, the acrobatic artistry of the famous CirqOvation Performers, illusionist Shaun Robison, a caricature artist, and other unexpected revelries.

“Our sixth Gala Di Mistero promises to bring magic and bewilderment to all who attend,” Neighborhood Center Executive Director Sandra Soroka said. “The Mystical Forest theme is sure to treat guests to an unforgettable and dreamlike evening of fantasy and fun; remember to get into the theme as you are part of the magic!”

Soroka said that proceeds from the gala go directly to benefit the children’s programs of the Neighborhood Center.

Gala Di Mistero is a 21 and older, black tie-andmasks-preferred event with exciting fundraisers and silent auctions. Tickets are $150 per person.
