South Lewis students named Lions Club Scholars

South Lewis Central School Class of 2023 members were recently celebrated as South Lewis Lions Club Scholars. The 21 Lions Club Scholars have earned honor roll grades of at least 75% for their first three years in high school.

The Class of 2023 Lions Club Scholars are Aiden M. Billhardt, Alyssa M. Callaghan, Carson James Dosztan, Andrew J. Higby, Brooke E. Kenyon, Brooke Kraeger, Clayton P. Kraeger, Makena Christine McDougall, Aidan P. McGuire, Heidi R. Metzler, Olivia J. Millard, Dublin M. Moore, Kendall Nemeth, Barbara Plato, Emma Reid, Sarah C. Schindler, Sara J. Shaw, Lanelle O. Vile, Ashley M. Wright, Carin E. Young and Mason Youngs.

The South Lewis administration and members of the South Lewis Lions Club honored the scholars with a luncheon May 31, where the students were treated to a Falcon Café-catered lunch, presented with certificates of recognition and South Lewis Lions Club Scholar sweatshirts.

They were also showered with congratulations and words of wisdom from the South Lewis administrative team and from esteemed Lions Club members Dawn Ludovici, Alan Woodruff, Melanie Bush and David Rice.
