Jervis library announces full slate of upcoming events
A host of activities and programs are planned next week at Jervis Public Library, 613 N. Washington St., according to an announcement by library officials. • Monday, June 12: 10 a.m., Tai Chi class; 5:30 p.m., Drop-in Digital Literary Assistance with a Literacy CNY volunteer; 6 p.m., Ukulele Circle, all ages and skill levels are invited to play ukulele in an informal setting — bring your own uke or check one out from the library, no registration necessary.
• Tuesday, June 13: 5 p.m., Mahjong for Beginners.
• Wednesday, June 14: 10:30 a.m., Story Time with Ms. Emily, 5:30 p.m., Evening Story Time with Ms. Emily.
• Friday, June 16: 3 p.m., Free Play Friday, for teens.
• Saturday, June 17: 10:30 a.m., Crochet
and Knitting Group; noon, Jervis Library will be at Bellamy Park for Juneteenth.
The library is open 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday; 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
