7 p.m. on TNT Movie: Star Wars: Return of the Jedi

Brighter and more humorous than “The Empire Strikes Back,” this third film in the original “Star Wars” trilogy introduces the brave, furry little Ewoks, who help Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and his friends battle the Empire on the forest moon of Endor. Sometimes the whimsy threatens to go completely over the top, but the space yarn builds to a satisfying climax. Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher also star in this 1983 smash.

8 p.m. on DISC Gold Rush

As new miners flood the gold fields, the harsh reality of soaring fuel prices, supply chain issues and the price of gold being down plague mining operations. There’s no room for error as competition increases for the best land with the most gold and the Old Guard of gold miners are forced to adapt and prove they still have what it takes. But can they? Parker Schnabel, Tony Beets and Fred Lewis return, with Brandon and Brady Clayton joining the cast in the Season 13 premiere.
