Chamber Music Society of Utica plans 82nd season

Chamber Music Society of Utica will present five concerts — and live streaming — as part of its 82nd season from the stage of the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute auditorium in downtown Utica. Access the concerts through live streaming via the CMSU website: www.uticachambermusic.org. Curtain time for both options is 2:30 p.m. The CMSU 2022-23 season at a glance:

• Oct. 30: ASMI Chamber Ensemble.

• Jan. 8: Zéphyros Winds Quintet.

• Feb. 12: Ulysses String Quartet.

• March 26: Wiley-Polonsky Cello-Piano Duo.

• April 30: Verona String Quartet.

The highlight of the season is cellist and Utica-native Peter Wiley’s performance with pianist Anna Polonsky on March 26.

Season subscription tickets are available now, and can be applied either to attendance in person or to viewing through the CMSU website. For those who are not subscribers, single tickets for the live concerts will be available at the door on the day of the event. A commensurate donation will be asked of website viewers. Season subscriptions are: general subscription $80; senior subscription $70; students age 18 and older $35. Tickets at the door: $25 general; $10 student over the age of 18; students under age 18 are free.

In addition, subscribers will receive a free bonus ticket for the Dali Quartet’s concert at Hamilton College on Friday, Sept. 30, included in the CMSU subscription ticket strip.
