Remember the true meaning of christmas

As we approach the Christmas season, let us remember the true meaning of this event. The Christmas lights displayed in our community are a reminder of who the light of the world is; Jesus is our light, and we as followers should be light to others through our acts of kindness and love.

At the present time our world is experiencing darkness due to racism, hatred and corruption. Once again we need to focus on the reason for the season...the birth of our creator and His love for humanity. We should keep our light shining.
