Margaret K. ‘Peggy’ clark

Margaret K. “Peggy” Clark, 89, of Malabar, FL, passed away Nov 24, 2021, at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne, FL. She was born in Lancaster, PA, on April 23, 1932, a daughter of Andrew and Margaret Bechtold Killian. The family eventually moved to the Central New York area, where she married the love of her life, John B. Clark on Nov 22, 1951. Peggy must have been part fish; she loved being in the water ever since she was a kid herself. She has taught literally THOUSANDS to swim and loved every minute of it. Just ONE of her memorable moments, was when she had the opportunity to swim with the dolphins. She also loved working with fabric and quilting. She was loved by all that knew her and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah J. Morrow; a son, Burt and Debbie Clark; and five grandchildren, Nathan and Angela Morrow, Rachel, Benjamin and Forrest Clark. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Ben L. Clark; a son-in-law, Jeff Morrow; a sister, Clara Galbraith; and three brothers, George, Andrew and Guy Killian, who recently passed away on Nov 29, 2021.

Calling hours will be held Saturday December 11, 2021, at Lee United Methodist Church, 4731 Rt. 69, Lee, NY, from 2-4 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 4 p.m. At the conclusion of the service, there will be a covered dish supper in the back of the church.
