MVCC to host non-credit truck driving program open house

Mohawk Valley Community College will host an open house event for its new trucking program through Ancora Corporate Training from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17, at its Rome Campus, 1101 Floyd Ave., at which prospective students can learn how they can prepare to get their Commercial Drivers License in four weeks.

Students in the program will receive non-credit, hands-on training right on MVCC’s Rome Campus to be job-ready within weeks for immediate employment opportunities. Funding opportunities are available for those who qualify.
