Police charge man after breaking father’s TV

A 38-year-old man has been charged with breaking his father’s television set, according to law enforcement officials.

Police said Luigi Capoccetta, of Rome, was in an argument with his father at his father’s residence on Turin Street at about 4 p.m. Nov. 15. Police said Capoccetta shoved his father’s TV set off its stand, breaking the set. Police said Capoccetta also broke a glass window pane on a door.

A warrant was issued for Capoccetta and he was taken into custody on Friday. Police said he is charged with one count of fourth-degree mischief. He is scheduled to appear in City Court.
